I saw
How it all ended.
Some say,
“It’ll be fire
And brimstone.”
Others think,
“It’s going to be ice.”
But I already know
That we won’t feel a thing.
Because the world
Will wave goodbye
During our night’s sleep.
Silently, peacefully
And as in a dream.
