Exodus

“EXODUS” (*)

The day
You landed
On me
I bore meteors
And dust.
I became
The Moon’s Daughter
A second femme fatale
Another cryptic myth.
I was grey and black
Mixed with white.

You found me
Half-dead
Half-naked
Half-human
And you transformed
Me.

Now,
I drink the universe

With a simple glance.
I AM THAT I AM.

~A

(*) The book of Exodus is the second book of the Old Testament. It narrates the escape of the Israelites from Egypt. When Moses encounters God in a burning bush and he asks for His name, God answers: “I AM THAT I AM”
